Worship Artistry Pedalboard

For 2021 I decided to make a few changes to the Worship Artistry guitar pedalboard.

Here's a walk through and a short demonstration of some of the new tones.

Jason Houtsma is the co-founder and guitar teacher at Worship Artistry, where he is helping musicians of every level answer the call to worship with passion and confidence. Jason has been leading worship and writing music since he was 15 years old and currently serves as Worship Pastor for Mosaic Church in Bellingham, WA. He is husband to Alli and father to Bjorn and Asher.

Converting this to POD speak

I'm a Pod guy, I play on an HD500 it is tricky to translate your effects chain into POD speak.
Could you do give a break down of how to get these same types of sounds in a digital environment?
Thanks <>< Joe

We actually have a patch for the HD500

Just search Worship Artistry on the Line 6 site.

This current board is Guitar -> Tuner -> Compressor -> Octave pedal -> transparent overdrive -> lead overdrive -> Volume -> Vox AC30 amp (Blue speakers) -> chorus -> Tape Delay -> Dealy+Reverb. Does that help?

Questions about pedal boards

Hi Jason,
i am playing with a GT10 Boss pedal and i am not happy with my tunes.
I was thinking about buying each one of your favorite pedals ,but i dont have a vox amp.
i use the amps from my GT10 pedal on a very loud TECH 21 speaker box.
Do you have any idea on what should I buy with these pedal to keep using my speakers?
Thank you for everything you do

While I can't claim expertise there

I would recommend hitting up the guitarists' Facebook group. Those folks know a lot more than me.

Just bought the Little Timmy

Thanks so much for this rundown. I've tried the Palisades and the Fulltone OCD and haven't liked them. I was sure I could tweak the Palisades, but I was always looking for something in between 2 and 3 on the bandwidth. And I would never push the gain. I just wanted a little breakup from my AC-15. I don't play in a modern worship band, something more Paul Baloche-is most of the time. So I ordered the Little Timmy and can't wait to hear how it'll sound.

I think you're going to like it

I had a Palisades for a long time but I think tube screamer tone just isn't for me

Pedals or Board

Thanks for all you do! I've been trying to decide between a Line 6 HELIX board or after noticing what u and some players use, making my own board. I normally lead with acoustic using a Zoom GR1 but I am getting a renewed passion for electric. What do u recommend?

While I absolutely love my board

The Helix is a great all in one solution and perfect for church or at home. Plus you don't have to lug a 70lb amp around. It's a powerful tool.

Helix Presets

Any plans to create some Worship Artistry Helix presets?
Or at least a basic layout
